Quality Manager [Packaging]

We are currently looking for a Quality Manager for a leading player in the Packaging Manufacturing Industry with a legacy of more than 20 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Based in Selangor

• Manage the overall quality planning for all plants, anticipating potential issues that may arise.
• Carry out tasks within the department as defined in the QA task map.
• Ensure the presence of qualified staff to comply with company regulations.
• Lead the assessment of the Management System in response to any organizational changes.
• Act as the principal management representative for compliance activities, ensuring that other representatives carry out their duties effectively.
• Lead internal audits and management reviews, while coordinating external audits.
• Organize customer visits, meetings, and audits related to product quality and compliance.
• Monitor quality concerns stemming from suppliers or products, collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective measures, and assess the effectiveness of these improvements.
• Review and authorize corrective action reports for both internal and customer-related issues.
• Advise on continuous improvement efforts in quality, compliance, product performance, and process optimization.
• Contribute to supplier performance evaluations for the Purchasing department.
• Oversee the coordination of new product approval processes.
• Manage the operation and upkeep of the Document Control Center.
• Hold the authority to halt production if any issue arises that impacts product quality, the company’s reputation, or if unforeseen circumstances occur.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or any relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of Quality related experience.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is mandatory and fluency in Chinese is a plus.
• Candidates from Packaging Manufacturing Industry are preferred.
